10.16.14

today i write because my lungs are not as strong willed as i like them to be, hence i've been stuck inside for over a week and i'm a little bored. also, all punctuation needs have temporarily disappeared.

today i write of a happier day. a much, much happier day: the day i married dean. swoon.
so here a bunch of beautiful pictures taken my my sister, owner of Think of Me Photography.

my favorite pictures.

the most emotional part of the day: hugging my little sister after coming out of the temple. and dean's face is a little like, "here comes the tears." yes, dean, here comes the tears.
for those of you who don't know, i was actually best friend's with dean's sister savaughn before i ever met him. so it was a little emotional that i literally gained my best friend as a sister. also, look how cute his littlest sister is.
my grandpa.
the classic temple picture.
 the north's
the cunningham's

my talented mother-in-law made my bouquet by the way. i wanted it massive and wild, and she made it just that.

and now for the reception...
90% of these pictures are black and white and that's because my sister is AMAZING and created such an old fashioned, vintage, moody feel. my favorites.
my mom did our cakes. aren't they amazing? on the left is dean's lego cake, and it has two people on it holding guns and the sign says "Dean and Talor's Gun Range" which is just so like Dean it was perfect.
 bridesmaids: missing one.

i don't know why, but this is one of my favorite pictures, which is just weird because we both look exhausted.
my little sister is incredibly talented so i forced her to sing us "dream a little dream of me" by the mamas and the papas and "at last" by etta james and she did so wonderful.
father-daughter dance. we danced to "it's a wonderful world" by louis armstrong

trying so hard not to cry.
me and dean's first song. don't laugh, but we danced to "young and beautiful" by lana del rey. um because we watched the great gatsby right after we got engaged and we were both so in love with it that we listened to it on repeat for the year after. so. you gotta do what you gotta do.

 cutting the cake.

 annnnnd...we left

it was the happiest day, but i don't remember a whole lot of it. i've talked to so many people about this, and the happiest day for me was the day after when i woke up next to him and i was like holy shiz we are going on a trip by ourselves and we're married and look at our cute house and our parents are coming over and we get to open so many presents and does this mean we get to buy a bunch of candy on the way to jackson hole?
we did. we went to walmart in idaho and bought a galore of candy and snacks and had the funnest week in the cutest town and it was the happiest week of my life.
